Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how 4XITE Technologies (“4XITE”, “we”) collects, uses, protects, and shares your information when you use our financial-intelligence platform. We treat your financial data as sensitive and design for privacy from the ground up.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and authentication details when you register.

Financial data: with your explicit permission, we connect to your bank through Mono using read-only access, and receive transaction history, balances, and account metadata. We never receive or store your bank login credentials.

Usage and device data: basic technical information needed to run the app securely and reliably.

3. How we use your information

We use your data solely to provide the service: to categorize transactions, generate insights and alerts, produce your dashboard and reports, and improve the product. 4XITE provides intelligence, not advice — we interpret your data; we never sell it or use it to advertise to you.

4. How we protect it

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and data is encrypted at rest. Access to your data is scoped to you at the database level (row-level security). Bank access tokens are stored in an encrypted vault, never in plain columns, and no bank credentials are ever stored. Personal information is scrubbed from our error-monitoring before it leaves our systems.

5. Sharing and third parties

We share data only with the providers needed to run 4XITE: Mono (secure bank connectivity), our payment processors for subscriptions, error monitoring (with PII removed), and push-notification and hosting providers. Each is bound by contract to protect your data. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

6. Your rights

In line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and GDPR-aligned standards, you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@4xite.com. See our NDPA Compliance page for more.

7. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can disconnect a bank or request deletion at any time. Certain financial records may be retained for a limited period where required by law, after which they are removed.
